Hi Everyone,

If you're planning to race the NYC Triathlon on July 22, it must be confirmed.  Although he didn't put it in the email, he needs everyone confirmed by this Friday, July 13 at noon.  (See message below from Race Director John Korff).  I know you all have a lot of moving parts in your careers, but, please, let's respect the race directors who are working their tails off to provide pros with opportunities to earn prize money and receive media coverage by confirming participation by their due dates.  Sponsors love it when we get media coverage, so let's take advantage when it's being thrown at us. 

I've heard many race directors state that they are thinking about significantly reducing the prize money or even eliminating the pro division because we, as a group, are a pain in the butt work with.  Please confirm!  Let's keep our opportunities open!
